We've loved living here for the last ten years. the town is very friendly and welcoming and the location is idyllic and could be described as crime free. Bank House is a lovely. spacious family home with great views over the surrounding hills and with a large. partially walled garden. Gatehouse is in a beautiful area and the village/town is friendly and welcoming.
Originally an 18th Century Merchants House. Bank House enjoys a very central location in Gatehouse of Fleet above the Bank of Scotland at the top of the High Street. overlooking the clock tower. The conservation village dates back to the mid 1700s and has many visitor attractions it benefits from many local amenities. such as primary school. hops. otels. ibrary. golf course. tennis courts and Health Centre. Within the wider area. here are many sandy beaches and rocky coves within easy reach. nd equally dramatic inland scenery. with magnificent hills and lochs. making it an ideal location for cyclists. walkers and extreme sports enthusiast.
