 Where possible the existing trees will be retained and supplementary planting introduced to minimise the visual impact of the development and soften its appearance.   The existing hedgerows will be reinforced with indigenous species to strengthen the site boundaries.   Street trees will define the internal courtyard whilst seasonal flowerbeds will lead to the building entrances.   The rear gardens will be lawned areas.
